-My Water Sanctuary-

A personal piece. One of the first that I've ever painted my emotions into. My Water Sanctuary is a place I go to to reflect on my troubles and worries. So there's me in wolf form looking sadly into the water; bearing my symbols of water, each loosely tied to something-the swirl on the neck is a loose depiction of the Bass Clef as music is my life maybe even more so than art. I put Lillies in the picture (3 different types) because they are my favourite flower. I dunno, I've never really posted any art that involves my emotions... or really ever drawn many that do. I've put this down to the fact that in art the emotions are clearly portrayed. In music I can express myself because you can only hear it, not see my troubles so plainly. There's less of a story and more imagery.

I don't usually do backgrounds (as you can see in my gallery ) because I'm not the best at them. This time I challenged myself because it really meant something to me. Took me a while to figure out wot would be the best way of painting the water and ended up with this.
